Scientific Games First Lottery Sports Betting Supplier to Join the Global Lottery Monitoring System as an Associate Member

LAS VEGAS and ATLANTA – September 21, 2018 – Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) (“Scientific Games” or the “Company”) became today the first lottery sports betting supplier that will support the Global Lottery Monitoring System (“GLMS”) through the new GLMS Associate Membership programme, which was launched following a resolution of the GLMS General Assembly of May 2018.

The GLMS is a lottery industry mutualized monitoring system on sports betting aimed at detecting and analysing suspicious activities that could question the integrity of a sport competition. Under this programme, lottery suppliers with an interest in safeguarding the integrity of sports betting, can join GLMS as associate members.

A supplier with a proven commitment to the highest level of integrity and security, Scientific Games has 45 years of experience providing global lotteries with games, technologies and managed services. To serve the newly expanded US sports betting market, Scientific Games has also launched its Managed Trading Services (MTS), an effective risk, liability, and player management service available for sports betting operators. As a GLMS Associate Member, Scientific Games, which will be associated to GLMS visual identity, will receive summaries of global GLMS alerts and have access to the education and prevention tools and the information network that GLMS puts in place for its membership. Scientific Games will also receive sponsorship and communication opportunities at GLMS events.
